Rubber Bands and Elastics in Metro Detroit

Small rubber bands secure braid ends, ponytail sections and the base of a crochet install, and they're consumables that snap, so all four Kelly Beauty stores carry them in bulk bags as well as small packs.

Bare rubber or coated

Bare rubber bands grip hardest and cost least, which is why they're used for braid ends and sectioning. They also cut into hair over time, so they're not the right choice for a ponytail worn daily. Coated and fabric-covered elastics are gentler and better for everyday wear.
